General Self-Directed Supports (GSDS)

General Self-Directed Supports (GSDS) from Wings of Wisdom assist individuals preparing to enter the Self-Determination Program. If you’ve completed orientation but haven’t yet enrolled, GSDS offers transition support that helps build readiness and confidence. You can access coaching, training, and assistance that help clarify your options. These supports allow you and your family or representative to understand how the process works and what to expect. We focus on helping you take each step with clarity and assurance.

• General SD supports are authorized to be provided after SDP orientation and before a potential SDP participant is enrolled in the SDP.
• This service is for any assistance, coaching, and/or training support needed by a potential SDP participant and their family or their representative to successfully enroll in SDP.
